[Catalist] Quantum Collisions and Special Relativity workshop at Future Science

Dear Physics teacher participants of Future Science,

I have the pleasure of making two presentations:

  1.  On our recent research advances entitled "Quantum collisions: what are they and what are they good for?", 10:45-11:45 in building 204, room 23.   2.  Workshop on Special Relativity and Photoelectric Effect, 13:45-15:45, building 204, room 12. This is a repeat performance, back by popular(?) demand. For those who cannot make it or have been before, but would like updated material, please go to http://atom.curtin.edu.au/ModernPhysics/. I have updated the lecture notes with new figures and new animations. I'm sorry to have lost some of the older animations, but they were too difficult to get to work with the latest Java. For those attending I hope to discuss aspects that students find most challenging, but also inspiring. This would be a great opportunity for addressing any questions people might have.
