I have 4 hours a week. I have two streams - ATAR and General



ATAR has two 6 and 1/2 week units of Chemistry and Biology with a 2hr semester 1 exam - I make it pretty hard so I can based my yr 11 recommendations on it. I can send you a copy of the program if you like.



Texts are not great - Pearson covers some as does Science Aspects 4, Introductory Chemistry study guide is good.

Hi,
We have 6 x 40 minute classes; 1 teacher all year.
We use Pearson; its pretty good, has an associated activity book and extra resources online. Its not perfect but is any text??

One teacher all year  - tried revolving classes  but it was chaos with reports etc.!

Do you use specialist teachers that swap classes or does one teacher teach a class for the whole year?

I would also like to know what  textbook you are using and the positives and negatives you have found. Thanks in anticipation!
