[Catalist] Materials Science: The Science of Glass Fracture

Greetings Science Colleagues,
Given that Materials Science is outside the scope of current WACE ATAR Physics and Chemistry courses we could leave the study of glass/ceramic fracture to the scientists at NASA.
These URL’s show the complex physics and chemistry and mathematics of glass fracture. I briefly studied the linked webpages to delve deeper into the structure and bonding of glass.
