The objective of the ASELL workshops is to facilitate teachers and academics to work together to improve science investigations and experiences for high school students. This free workshop will provide you with the opportunity to observe, share and improve a number of science investigations for years 7-10 that assist both student learning and engagement. During this workshop you will also learn how to incorporate science inquiry into your investigations and test experiments that could be used with the new Australian Curriculum. This is a great opportunity to try science investigations in a hands-on format and share ideas with other, like-minded teachers and also hear from experts.

You are strongly encouraged to bring students (in years 7-10) to the workshop. This will enable you to gain insights from your own students’ perspectives, and it will also benefit the students who will be meeting and interacting with a Scientist in a fun, action-packed day filled with hands-on Science.
