Dear Teachers of Chemistry!

Are you interested in learning more regarding mass spectrometry, chromatography and atomic spectroscopy? Do you want to improve your knowledge and gain practical experience in the use of these techniques to further inspire your students? Murdoch University is pleased to offer ATAR chemistry teachers a professional development workshop which explores isotopes, intermolecular forces and electrons in the context of mass spectrometry, chromatography and atomic spectroscopy.

The event will take place at Murdoch University's South Street Campus on Thursday 10th November 2016 from 9am. Teachers participate in three interactive practical workshops in the morning (one related to each of the aforementioned techniques) and can choose to attend an optional session in the afternoon. The afternoon session allows teachers to gain further experience in the techniques and engage in further discussions with the chemists.

For all enquiries and to register, please email outreach at murdoch.edu.au<mailto:outreach at murdoch.edu.au> or phone (08) 9360 2524 to speak with Anna Pryor, Science Outreach Officer. Places are strictly limited to 24 attendees. Cost: $40 per person.

We look forward to welcoming you to the event.

Kind regards,

Outreach @ Murdoch University
