4.00pm Dolphin Watch for Schools
Come and learn about Perth's river dolphins!
Did you know there are 20-25 dolphins living in the Swan and
Canning Rivers? Dolphin Watch is a collaborative, citizen science
research and education project involving close to 1000
community members. Learn how to get students (K-Y12) involved
in real life science.

5.00pm Taking Leaves out of Old Books -
Native Flora as an Educational Tool
The natural bushland of South Western Australia is recognised
internationally as a biodiversity hotspot. Native flora commonly
found around Perth can be explored and easily used as an
educational tool. Learn how botany can be broken down into
easily digestible chunks so that students of all ages can better
understand the significance of the plants within the context of
WA Curriculum.
