ECU ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Hello,
I am delighted to inform you that ECU’s School of Engineering is offering scholarships valued at $20,000 to high performing Year 12 students, who wish to study Engineering in 2018.

Nominations for these Engineering Excellence Scholarships are now open.

These scholarships are open to Year 12 students who achieved top marks in their school at the end of Year 11 for any of the following subjects:

• Maths Methods
• Maths Specialist
• Chemistry
• Engineering Studies
• Physics

There are up to 5 scholarships available per school in WA (including country & regional). All secondary schools principals in WA are invited to nominate high performing students who are interested in studying Engineering.

We are also pleased to bring this exciting opportunity for students to the attention of Year 12 Coordinators, Career Councillors, and Math and Science Teachers so that they can confer with principals in the nomination process.

Should one of your nominees be a top performing student in several of the required subjects, please nominate that student in one subject and then nominate different high performing students for the other subjects.

The attached flyer (that also includes the nomination form), provides further details.

The deadline for nominating your top students is 5:00 PM, Wednesday, 31 May 2017.

Please return your completed nomination form to Asha Oudit, Engagement and Business Development Manager, School of Engineering, who will also be happy to answer any questions you may have via email: a.oudit at ecu.edu.au<mailto:a.oudit at ecu.edu.au> or by phone on (08) 6304 2463 or 0438 407 712.
