[Catalist] Free Science PD at Butler College - final ASELL workshop at a school for the year!

Hi everyone
Just a final reminder that ASELL is hosting a full day workshop at Butler College on November 8th 2017. As there are limited places this workshop is open to teachers who are currently teaching Science in a secondary school or primary school teachers from surrounding Butler College feeder schools. This is an opportunity for you to participate in experiments throughout the day, and analyse them by completing questionnaires and surveys.

*      Teachers have an opportunity to submit their existing science investigations whether they are exemplary or require improvement.

*      Teachers receive feedback from both students and other teachers about their investigations.

*      Teachers reflect on and modify their investigations.

The workshop is aimed at teachers of Years 7 - 10 Science, but we invite Year 6 teachers from the Butler College feeder schools.
Morning tea and lunch are provided. ASELL will pay for relief teachers up to $350 per teacher per day. Please arrive at 8:15 for registrations - workshop will start at 8:30. The day will end at approximately 3.00pm.
