Fisheries Professional Learning: Year 3-6 Ocean Science

Our professional learning focus in Term 4 is on the chemical, physical and earth and space sciences that occur in the ocean. Come and check out some cool science demonstrations and activities from Marine WATERs<http://marinewaters.fish.wa.gov.au/>, such as ocean acidification, currents and water density. We will also trial an activity investigating how light penetrates through water and how the colour of light is affected by ocean depth. We encourage you to bring along any activities and/or ideas to share as well.

This session is aimed at Year 3-6 teachers, including pre-service teachers, and will include take-away hard copy resources and a certificate of attendance.
