Dear Science Educators,

Greetings to you. With recent goods news about gravitational waves Nobel
Prize and emergence of a new era of multi messenger astronomy, science
education of gravity waves has become much more relevant today.

We are a group of researchers from UWA and Curtin University who are
working on a project called Einstein-First, where we are developing
materials to incorporate these modern ideas early in school science
curriculum. This is only possible with the involvement of science educators
around WA and also throughout the world. Recently we had a teacher’s
professional development program with a group of 40 teachers and received
quite a positive feedback from them. Our project is in close collaboration
with multiple other researchers around the world.

With regards to all these, we are organising a teachers’ professional
development workshop where we introduce about new materials and on-line
tools for teaching Einstein’s general theory of relativity to high school
students. This workshop is being led by a researcher from Norway Mr. Thomas
Frågåt.

We would like to invite you to participate in this workshop. This workshop
is completely free and you could participate in either of the two available
dates which are *17th Nov (Friday*) and *8th Dec (Friday)*.

Please refer to the link below for more details and RSVP your participation
to me or to this email thomas.fragat at fys.uio.no
