Exploring Geophysics with Curtin University

Engage your students with hands-on activities that demonstrate the exploration methods used in Geophysics.
Two activities are on offer - Seismic Exploration, and Gravity and Electromagnetism, linked to the Year 11 and 12 ATAR Physics curriculum respectively. Our staff will guide your students through these hands-on activities whilst raising awareness of Geophysics as a field and the many rewarding careers available. If you have students that have a strong interest in both physics and maths, then this is the field for them!

When:             Ongoing throughout the year at a negotiated time
Where:            Curtin University Bentley campus or at your school
Duration:        ~ 60 minutes
Cost:               Free
Who:               Year 11 & 12 students studying ATAR physics
