[Catalist] On Campus Activity at Murdoch Uni

Hi good science teachers of WA,

For the past 6 years, Murdoch University, in conjunction with Rio Tinto, have been running an all-day (9.15 am - 2.30 pm), on campus, activity with a focus on the Mining Industry (called STEM Outreach). The day consists of a talk followed by 4 x 50 minute activity sessions and the areas of Chemistry, Metal Extraction Processes (2 of) and Mathematics. Recently, due to date clashes, we have had a school have to withdraw from the sessions being run on Tuesday June 5. We now have vacancies for up to 50 students on that day. The day is aimed towards academic Year 10 students (Year 9 is possible) or Upper school Chem/Phys students

If you have a small group of students (up to 8) we do have some space on Wednesday June 27.
