Climate change is a massive part of the Earth and Environmental Course.

I have taught Biology for the past 8 years and it is definitely part of the Environmental issues topic in Year 11:

  1. human activities that can affect biodiversity and can impact on the magnitude, duration and speed of ecosystem change include examples of

  * habitat destruction, fragmentation or degradation
  * the introduction of invasive species
  * unsustainable use of natural resources
  * the impact of pollutants, including biomagnification
  *   climate change

Climate change is a major part of ATAR Geography. It even gets a mention in ATAR Chemistry!

Hullo

I retired from Teaching Biology/ Human Biology in about 2011. My question is why doesn't either subject include climate change in the course anymore. it is such a topical subject, politically, you would think it would be essential. What subject does teach it then? It is mentioned daily in the media.
