[Catalist] WA teacher wins BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Teacher Award

Congratulations Allan Alipio (CAPS Coolgardie) who was announced as the winner of the 2019 BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Teacher Award at the awards ceremony in Melbourne today.

As the winner of this award Allan gets to travel with the student winners to Intel ISEF in Phoenix Arizona.

Each year state and territory associations nominate a teacher for these awards. Allan was STAWA’s nominee for 2019.

Information on how to apply to be STAWA’s nominee for 2020 will appear on the STAWA website soon.
