[Catalist] Opportunity for South West Teachers - Chemistry, Biology and Physics PD ECU Bunbury Campus

Hello Teachers, Lab Technicians and TAFE lecturers,

ECU is once again hosting Mr Tim Harrison, Bristol ChemLabS Teachers Fellow from the University of Bristol, UK.

Tim, together with Dr Magda Majrak, Dr Sora Marin-Estrella, Dr Kristina Lemson and Nardia Bordas, will run PD sessions at ECU SW campus.  These sessions will provide teachers and lab technicians with information about various chemistry, biology and some physics demonstrations and experiments, which stimulate and excite students and are linked to the WA curriculum.  Participants will have the opportunity to trial all the experiments and demonstrations and will be provided with teaching resources.

Date:  Friday, 15 November 2019
Time:  Session One: 9.30-12.00 (lunch 12.00-1.00) Session Two: 1.00-3.30
Venue: ECU SW campus, 585 Robertson Drive, Bunbury, Building 2, Laboratory Rooms 2.102/3
Cost:  $50 + GST (includes certification of attendance, lunch and take-homes resources)

This is a great opportunity to meet and learn from a highly distinguished international science educator and communicator, network with other science professionals, views ECU facilities and get to know the ECU School of Science staff.
