Hi All,
Due to the popularity of the Hale STEM Challenge, and through the support of Curtin University and DATTA WA we are pleased to offer a second STEM Challenge this year on the Thursday 31st October (Week 3) at Curtin University.

Full details including a flyer for download @ https://www.stawa.net/opportunities/for-students/
This is an invitation for any schools that might be interested in attending this event. It is open to year 9 students and commences at 4 pm, finishing around 6.30 pm at Curtin University in the Engineering Pavilion (215). Somewhere between 130-150 year 9 boys and girls took part last year where they were split into teams and invited to design and make a solution to a real-life scenario. The challenge will be entirely new to them and although the materials are kept fairly basic: sticky tape, string, drawing pins, squash balls, A4 paper to name but a few. The ability to collaborate, create and to innovate is the key to success.

There is no cost involved, with a few places still available. If you would like to take part, please contact Simon Tilley for further details and the flyer as soon as possible.
