[Catalist] Year 6 and Year 7 Moderation

Registration to participate in the 2020 Year 6 and Year 7 Moderation are open.

The learning areas involved in Year 6 and Year 7 Moderation in 2020 are:

   Science

   Mathematics

   English

   Humanities and Social Sciences

   Health and Physical Education

   Design and Technologies

   Visual Arts

Participating schools and teachers will:

*         develop a comprehensive and shared understanding of the Year 6 and Year 7 achievement standards

*         develop an understanding of the benefits and use of marking keys as diagnostic tools and in making valid, reliable and consistent judgements on student achievement

*         engage with the assessment pointers to support the collection of evidence in order to make judgements for reporting purposes

*         be able to apply the model within their school for school-based moderation and comparability practices across all year levels
