Welcome back to work. I trust 2020 will be another great year for you.

Just letting you know that Australia's most prestigious school science and engineering awards, the BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards have announced the finalists. Finalist from WA include, Nyheemah Cox, a student from the Christian Parent Directed School and Anne Poustie, a teacher from Carmel School. The BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards are a partnership between CSIRO, BHPFoundation and the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA), recognising the best and brightest student researchers and innovators and teachers who make an outstanding contribution to science education in Australia.

Nyheemah’s project ‘Testing the Healing Properties of Indigenous Remedies’ has been selected as one of 26 finalists in the @BHPFoundation Science and Engineering Awards. #STEMawards2020”. Click on the link below for details and links including one to a video of Nyheemah explaining her project.
