Dear teachers,
Sorry for sending the previous email. It was a draft containing the same correct message but with a couple of spelling errors.

STAWA is unable to continue with plans to run CONSTAWA. The length of the COVID-19 disruption is unknown, making it very difficult to plan an alternative 2020 date so the conference is cancelled. Though CONSTAWA is under a 350 person gathering, education sector directives are advising staff not to attend external events, while universities are closing doors to onsite events.

STAWA will be examining alternative channels in the short term. We share in your disappointment and will keep you updated as new PL initiatives are developed.

Full refunds will be given to all teachers who managed to register early. Please allow Angie time to process refunds, which should be completed prior to the end of term.
