Nyheemah Cox (Coolgardie CAPS) won the Year 11-12 Science Investigation prize at the STAWA Science Talent Search in 2019. Her entry was a prize winner at the BHP Foundation Science and Engineering Awards earlier this year, and she was selected to represent Australia at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
Due to the COVID-19 students from around the world were unable to travel to the US for ISEF, a virtual science fair is being held instead.
The Virtual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair from May 18 through May 22. There is no Wimbledon or Tour de France to stay up all night watching, why not watch Australia's, and the world's, brightest young scientists on the international stage.
The virtual experience will include a mix of live and pre-recorded content as well as interactive sessions with a live Q&A.
This event is open to everyone - not just ISEF entrants. Register here<https://isef.6connex.com/event/virtual/register>. Share this link with your students too!
What can you see at Virtual Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair?
You can tune in to hear from people like
* Nobel Prize in Chemistry winner (2018) Frances Arnold
* Google Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist Vint Cerf
* National Medal of Technology and Innovation winner Cato Laurencin
ISEF Commons, featuring dozens of universities, so that your students can have an opportunity to learn more about some top colleges.
Virtual rooms for each project category, featuring videos about finalists' projects. Head to each category to learn more about finalists' research! Or head to other category rooms!
