Hi Teachers
Murdoch is pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity for your female students to develop their coding and technical skills in a supportive, female-led environment.
We have some fully funded scholarships available to attend SheCodes Next - a one week, full time, tech-taster program for young women or non-binary aged between 13-17 years. Designed to follow a similar structure as SheCodes Flash, Next will also entail elements of finding your 'why' before diving into any technical content, with a mission to educate young people about their careers. The SheCodes Next program is more than just coding - meet inspirational speakers, work with others and build your self confidence in a small, intimate female environment (10-20 participants).

To find out more about the program visit https://shecodes.com.au/flash/next/

Dates of SheCodes Next program: Monday 4thOctober to Friday 8th October. (school holidays)
Time: 9.00am-5.00pm
Requirements: Personal laptop is required. All costs associated with claiming the prize (accommodation, travel, internet charges) are the responsibility of the prize winner.

For your students to enter all they need to do is complete the application form, answering the question "Tell us in 120 words or less why coding is of interest to you and how the SheCodes Next program will support your future STEM career", and confirm they meet the entrant requirements using this link https://murdochoutreach.survey.fm/she-codes-next-application-september
