Dear all,

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) will be conducting regional and metropolitan consultation workshops throughout the month of May, to gather feedback from teachers and other stakeholders on ACARA's proposed revisions. The feedback is critical to ensure that the views of Western Australian teachers, academics and professional associations are represented in the jurisdictional response that will be submitted to ACARA.

The following metro consultations sessions are available for Science if you are available to attend:

1. SCIENCE 7-10
Thursday 13/05
12.30pm - 3.30pm
Bendat Basketball Centre

2. SCIENCE P-10
Wednesday 19/05
8.30am - 11.30am
Swan Yacht Club

You can register for these sessions at: https://k10outline.scsa.wa.edu.au/home/teaching/acara-f10-australian-curriculum-review/_nocache. Here you will also find the consultation materials for the Science learning area such as the proposed scope and sequence and comparative information, and a survey to provide feedback. If you are unable to attend one of these sessions, we encourage you to the view the materials online and provide feedback via the online survey.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact myself (Carla.brew at scsa.wa.edu.au<mailto:Carla.brew at scsa.wa.edu.au>) or Julie Weber (Julie.weber at scsa.wa.edu.au<mailto:Julie.weber at scsa.wa.edu.au>).
