Are you interested in incorporating STEM in a meaningful way in Science, looking for more PL after the STAWA conference.  North Lake Senior Campus is offering a practical professional learning opportunity in the use of PASCO wireless sensors for a range of experiments across chemistry, physics, biology and environmental science, applicable across both lower and upper school. North Lake has a wide variety of sensors, experiments include soil moisture, pendulums, using pH meters, simulating the spread of infectious diseases, motion sensors, force accelerometers and smart carts for physics, simulating ocean acidification with a pH sensor and CO2 sensor, exploration of photosynthesis with CO2 and O2 sensors and colorimeters. It includes the use of code nodes for utilising the coding capacity of sensors
This PL is suitable for everyone, for those new to wireless sensors and existing users, and is an opportunity to share ideas.
Venue: North Lake Senior Campus
on Mon 29th November and/ or Tuesday 7th December, at 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
