Hello Fiona,
I’m no expert but I know there’s wave energy research happening here in Albany. I think UWA is involved and I hear they run excursions but I haven’t participated in it yet.
Here in Albany a local science group called Great Southern Science Council<http://www.greatsouthernsciencecouncil.org.au/> have been distributing teaching resources to teachers. Teachers have been invited to pick up a USB drive of resources from the local library. Dear all,
I am looking for secondary level incursions or on-line activities from regional organisations promoting renewable energy sources and research. I can see there is a lot now embedded in the outreach programs from the petrochemical companies, but I would love to find local groups with a focus on renewables and which have the time/resources to present to students in the South West. Your suggestions gratefully received.
