In 2019, the Board of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority approved the development of a new general science course, Science in Practice, which will replace the current Year 11 and 12 General Integrated Science course.
The public consultation drafts of these new Years 11 and 12 syllabuses are available on the course page for Integrated Science (https://senior-secondary.scsa.wa.edu.au/syllabus-and-support-materials/science/integrated-science).

The Authority would value feedback from science teachers, including those who do not teach the Integrated Science and a link to an online survey for teachers to provide feedback is also available on the same page as above. Teachers are encouraged to provide feedback using the survey.
As well, online teacher information sessions about these new syllabuses are scheduled for Monday 16 May, Thursday 19 May, Tuesday 24 May and Wednesday 25 May from 4.00-6.00 pm. You can register to attend this event on the Events page of the SCSA website (https://www.scsa.wa.edu.au/events/syllabus-review-information-sessions).

You are welcome to share this information with colleagues whom you think may be interested in providing feedback on this new course.
