Hi Science teachers,

once again The Royal Society of WA has produced a cracker of a conference!

RSWA acts as an umbrella for many different scientific disciplines. They
aggregate the top research on a topical subject into a conference and
give a breadth and depth overview that is accessible to the general
science-educated person (that means us teachers).

When: Friday 6th and Sat 7th October 2023

Where: University Club, UWA

Cost: Free to RSWA members / $250 for non-members

How to become a RSWA member? Pay $50 for a years membership. That is
right, you will eat more than your membership fees, and get to go to
this stunning conference/PD.

You can apply for membership here :
https://www.rswa.org.au/membership/Membership.aspx

So are you a relief teacher/retired and you want to make up your PD
hours? Go to the conference and log the hours. (RSWA doesn't give
certificates like STAWA, but it is PD and can be recorded). Got a mate
in HASS? maybe pass on to them.

Here is the program, please enjoy.
