The Science Teachers’ Association of Western Australia (STAWA), the professional body representing primary and secondary teachers of Science, invites primary and secondary students to participate in the 58th Science Talent Search (STS) competition. The Science Talent Search aims to promote science teaching and learning through creative project work. STS is a great way to engage students in Science and can be used to meet all strands of the WA Science Curriculum.

Registration is now open for the 58th Science Talent Search. Only registered schools will be able to submit entries for final judging.

The registration form and competition information is available on the STAWA website http://stawa.net/student-competitions/sts-2016/.

An STS launch will take place at Scietech on Tuesday 10 May, 4.30-6.30 pm. Find out about the different competition categories and competition rules, have an opportunity to play with the CSIRO Lab's Edison robots and network with other STS participants. Registration for this event is free and will open soon.
