Subject: [Catalist] WA teacher 2017 winner of BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Teacher Award

Congratulations Hamish Gibson from Georgiana Molloy Anglican School.

Hamish has just been announced as the winner of the BHP Billiton Science and Engineering Teacher Award for 2017 at the awards ceremony at Zinc in Melbourne. He will now get to chaperone student winners to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles in May.

Hamish was nominated for this award by STAWA for his excellence in teaching, support of open-ended student investigations and participation in the Science Talent Search competition over a number of years.
