[Catalist] Scitech CEO Alan Brien to retire

Hi All,
The Chair of the Scitech Board, Mr Tony Joyner, today announced that CEO Mr Alan Brien has decided to retire.
Mr Brien has led Scitech’s Executive team for the past 17 years. Mr Joyner said that Scitech, and indeed all of Western Australia, had benefitted greatly from Alan’s leadership and passion for science.

On behalf of STAWA members we would like to thank Alan for the enormous contribution he has made to Scitech.

Alan emailed myself and members of STAWA and MAWA Councils on Monday and I spoke with him yesterday. He will be around for a few months yet. STAWA will be doing a tribute to Alan in the August edition of SCIOS.
