Hi Nando,

Thanks for that.

qQ6, it did say 'at which' it would be unstable

q8 There would be an emf but no current. It would be similar to a conductor moving in a field, one end would be positive and the other negative, and so an emf is induced, but because there are no circuit wires out of the field there would be no current flowing due to the emf.

Kind Regards

Hello Greg.

As a result of a once over,

I am in total open support of all of your comments within your solutions.

With all due respect to my students., they would probably struggle, as did I,  with: Fast photons, Black body radiation, three torque problems??!!!, escape velocity, flux lobes;

I suspect the term "fast photons" is in the Nelson text, and a student even asked me about it in class, but i did not investigate it - assuming it would not come up. Can't find the reference, no time. I will look more later.

I liked the molten iron comprehension but it could have been so much more, with less obscurity in the questioning.

ps...Would the cat need to stand at less than 0.250 m rather than 0.25) m? Q6

Q8b... zero emf induced?

Thanks again, Greg.

Kind regards,

Nando Nicoletti

Hi Catalish

Just two more points,

  1. Beginning Physics teachers please don't worry about the need to give feedback if you don't want to, as I'm very happy to provide them with no strings attached to you.
  2. Please don't pass on these solutions to any other teacher, please direct them to me. I'm keen for them to not be used in any way other than feedback and PL.

Kind Regards
