Michael,

You’re doing exactly what the Intelligent Designers would do, but in reverse. Are you proposing that these examples point to the non-existence of a god? This is why I’m not an intelligent design advocate. 

‘They' say this unexplainable phenomenon points to the existence of god. Kind of a god of the gaps thing. So what happens when we uncover the explanation behind the phenomenon? The mystery is revealed and the deity is no longer needed. I can’t see how you can infer anything about a designer, either for, or against based on this nerve. Unless we can find more creatures with 2 m necks to compare it to...


In regards to the second link, I have a 5 year old who would argue with the suggestion that exposed testicles are a design flaw :)

However consider the existence of Facebook. Now that is better evidence there surely can’t be an intelligent designer!
