The ConocoPhillips Science Experience with Engineering

Curtin University's innovative program is designed for students who have an interest in science, technology, engineering and maths. It's an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating activities under the guidance of university students, researchers and scientists who love their work.

The Science Experience with Engineering at Curtin is four days of hands-on science lab sessions (food science, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, math's, biology, computing), engineering lab sessions, expert speaker presentations, science and engineering talks, information on studying at university, careers in science and engineering, competitions and more.


After attending students said:

93% of students liked science more than before the Experience, wanted to find out more about science/do more science at school and study science at university

91% of students said the same for engineering.

71% said they now thought that "anyone could be a scientist"

Date: 6, 7, 10 and 11 December 2018
Time: 9am to 4.30pm
Location: Curtin University Bentley Campus
Cost: $260 per student (inc GST)
Audience: year 9 students (entering year 10 in 2019)
