Hi All,
The FameLab program would be a great way to motivate your students for the STAWA Science Talent Search (STS).

As you know STS is open for registrations. The booklet will be hitting your schools and the homes of members ready for the start of term 2. You and your students can also download the booklet and or the sections that they need criteria for at https://www.stawa.net/student-activities/science-talent-search/
Register your class or classes at the above web address as well. This is a quick process. Julie forward’s more specific detail and final registration info progressively.

Hello All,

We are pleased to announce the FameLab Schools Program. We would appreciate your assistance in promoting the event:

Date: Thursday 9 May 2019
Time: 9.30am - 11.30am
Location: Perth CBD
Cost: Free, for booked school groups
Bookings: To register your interest please click on the "Online Booking". Please indicate Year level and approximate numbers in the "Excursion Information" field. We will confirm your booking once this is received.

In this special schools showcase event your students will get the opportunity to see FameLab contestants tell their science stories in just three minutes or less with no jargon, and no PowerPoint. This event will inspire your students and expose them to some of the current research happening around Australia, with a focus on communicating that research in creative ways. This year we are including with the FameLab program, a STEM professionals’ This is My Life presentation that showcases inspiring women in STEM, modelling an exciting future in STEM study and careers.
The FameLab schools program is suitable for the entire class or a group of select students.
