About Mission Discovery
· The program brings a NASA astronaut, NASA leader and key scientists (team of about 5) to a host (this can be a school or a university) for a 5 day school holiday program.
· In teams of six, participants take on the role of research scientists and design an experiment to be conducted in space
· University Science and Engineering students will mentor the teams throughout the program
· The overall winning team, as judged by the NASA Panel, has their experiment built and carried out on the International Space Station
· The program develops leadership skills, critical and creative thinking, presentation skills and teamwork
· The program is open to current year 7 – 10 secondary school students
· The cost will be $721 + GST per person with school group booking discounts available and a subsidised access program for lower socio-economic background individuals and schools
· Further information is on the website www.missiondiscovery.com.au<https://latitudegrouptravel.com.au/special-programs/mission-discovery/>

Enjoy the remaining few days of your holidays.

Regards,
John
