[Catalist] Organic Chemistry (Unit 4) Teacher Feedback - Professional Development Opportunities

Murdoch University is committed to supporting teachers in both their and their students' learning.  Organic chemistry academic Dr. Kate Rowen, together with the Outreach team, is interested in developing an organic chemistry and synthesis professional development program for ATAR chemistry teachers.  Dr. Rowen is already involved in delivering analytical chemistry and electrochemistry professional learning sessions but recognises the gap that currently exists to support teachers in organic chemistry.



To aid in the development of this initiative, we are keen to learn from teachers who are teaching or have previously taught Unit 4 of the ATAR chemistry curriculum. The professional development opportunity may include a one-off learning session (half or full day), activities for you to lead with your students, activities delivered by Murdoch University, or project-based activities in partnership with Murdoch (for example, in classroom synthesis of different compounds and analysis at Murdoch).
