Hi all,

FYI and to share with any primary teacher network of contacts that you have:

Lighthouse Maths<https://bit.ly/3od7C2A?fbclid=IwAR2A8oPFv82NQxRGRsrejS-2ND9EMQjHhuL3lW6tYci63uLPtjxLQKSe6J8> is a new professional learning program that aims to empower teachers to engage learners through using transformational approaches in maths education.

Delivered over a school year, teachers in the program will learn these approaches through hands on workshops, in class mentoring and coaching/network sessions.

This is the perfect way to begin or progress the development pathway for numeracy leaders in your school.

Sign up to attend one of our information sessions for all you need to know about Lighthouse Maths.

Register here: https://bit.ly/3od7C2A<https://bit.ly/3od7C2A?fbclid=IwAR2A8oPFv82NQxRGRsrejS-2ND9EMQjHhuL3lW6tYci63uLPtjxLQKSe6J8>

Designed for principals and teachers, the sessions will explore:

  1. The results achieved with like Scitech programs that have led to average gains in maths 6 months beyond the year cohort
  2. Proven success in developing a deeper understanding and greater appreciation for the WA curriculum: Mathematics
  3. Free, effective and user-friendly resources to optimise learning outcomes
  4. An evidence-based problem-solving approach that elevates all four maths proficiencies to new height

Refreshments will be provided and there is free underground parking at City West (Scitech).

Unable to attend in person? Book a ticket anyhow and you will receive a link to a recording of the session.

I am sending this on behalf of Scitech. Any questions regarding this or other PL programs at Scitech, contact Paul Moro <paul.moro at scitech.org.au>
