[Catalist] Free Primary School Excursions to Telethon Kids Institute in Term 2

[Telethon Kids Schools Program]

Get your class excited about science and health research with our Discovery Centre Schools Pilot Program!

This is your last chance to participate in our pilot program at no cost, with a handful of dates still available for Term 2. Our excursions run for 2 hours and include hands-on science investigations guided by our very own Telethon Kids researchers, a guided tour of our state-of-the-art labs, and time to explore the games inside our interactive Discovery Centre. Open to students in years 3, 4, 5, and 6, inspire your students with real-life science and research through activities such as:

  *   Extracting DNA from strawberries
  *   Measuring the level of glucose in soft drinks
  *   Using video technology to look inside an ear
  *   Make slime to learn about the lungs and asthma

With the program absolutely free of charge, all you will need to do is to cover the cost of transport to and from the Telethon Kids Institute.
