[Catalist] Last call for Stargirl STEM Camp applications

Hello Educators,

This is a reminder to share this free opportunity with your students. Applications are closing December 9th. Please free to get in touch with any questions.

The International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research is running the Stargirls STEM Camp again over the summer holidays, and is open to all girls and underrepresented genders in year 9-12 in 2023.

It will run from the 23rd-25th of January 2023.

This will include the opportunity to:

•        Use research-grade SPIRIT telescopes

•        Meet with leading people in the astronomy field

•        Tour Pawsey Supercomputing Centre

•        Participate in an astronomy observing night…and many other astronomy related activities!

This is a completely free event with limited spots. Please share this flier with your wider school community, and encourage your students to apply. Applications will close the 9th of December.
