So much has happened on WA’s largest island over the last few years with the removal of feral cats, goats and sheep.  The island’s vegetation is growing back and exciting progress is being made to return 13 different threatened native animal species to the island. What better time to celebrate success than Christmas?  Even Santa is surprised at the changes occurring on the island!


You and your students are invited to join in the celebration and have some fun with the attached Christmas colour-in for your students showing the 7 native animal species that have been returned so far and can now call Dirk Hartog Island their home again, thanks to conservation efforts.
