[Catalist] ASELL Workshop Santa Maria College 5 May

Hi everyone,

ASELL is hosting a full day workshop at Santa Maria College, in Attadale on May 5th. This is an opportunity for you to participate in experiments throughout the day, and analyse them through discussion and by completing questionnaires and surveys.

  *   Teachers from the college have submitted some of their existing science investigations whether they are exemplary or require improvement.

  *   Teachers will receive feedback from both students and other teachers about their investigations.
  *   Teachers reflect on and modify their investigations.
Following this, clusters of schools can select focus areas (e.g. literacy, problem-based learning) in which they can participate in sustained engagement with ASELL, advancing their professional practices through cycles of reflection, implementation and evaluation.
Morning tea and lunch are provided. ASELL will pay for relief teachers if this is required. Please arrive at 8:15 for registrations - workshop will start at 8:45. The day will end at approximately 3.30pm.
