TOPIC:  HOUR OF CODE 2017

Teachers and schools worldwide are making plans for Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 4-10th) and the Hour of Code. With such a groundswell of support, it’s the ideal time to put the spotlight on computer science in the Learning Futures Network.

As the final event for 2017 we want to make a big splash with a participatory Hour of Code event.
We'd like to get at least 100 Learning Futures Network members in one place to complete an Hour of Code.

Regardless of your experience with coding, the Hour of Code resources let you start from Scratch or dive into the deep end with a full course in coding.

I’d also like to invite any of our members to bring along any interesting code focussed resources they can offer as activities or resources for this event.

This will be the final Wide-Eyed Wednesday event for 2017 and a great way to share the outcomes of an amazing year in Education.  We might even have a few surprises!
